In addition to composing your email, the Compose Actions Menu offers additional actions for the email you've created:
• Request delivery receipt: Receive a confirmation when the email is delivered.
• Request read receipt: Get notified when the recipient reads your email.
• Mark as high priority: Flag the email as important for the recipient's attention.
• Save draft: Preserve the current email content for future editing and sending.
Here's how to access the menu:
- Tap the Pencil in the upper right corner to write a new email.
- From within the Compose page, tap the Compose Actions Menu at the top right corner of the action bar.
- Choose the action you wish to perform.
- Use delivery receipts sparingly: Reserve them for critical or time-sensitive communications to avoid overwhelming recipients.
- Be selective with read receipts: Request them only for important messages or when following up to prevent intrusiveness.
- Prioritize wisely: Use the high-priority flag for truly urgent emails to maintain its effectiveness.
- Organize drafts: Regularly review and organize your drafts folder by deleting outdated drafts and prioritizing pending emails.
