How to set up your email on a Microsoft Outlook for iOS. You'll need to decide if you want to use POP or IMAP settings. Your device settings may differ slightly. Navigate to IMAP, POP and SMTP server settings for the proper settings for CenturyLink.net.
1. Open the Microsoft Outlook for iOS application.
2. Type in your CenturyLink email address then tap add account.
3. Enter a Display Name e.g. John Appleseed.
4. Enter a description (e.g. Work)
5. Enter IMAP Hostname (mail.centurylink.net)
6. Enter IMAP Port (993)
7. Enter your IMAP Username (example@centuryLink.net ).
8. Enter your Account password for the IMAP password.
9. Enter the SMTP Hostname (smtp.centuryLink.net).
10. Enter SMTP Port (465).
11. Change Port Security to SSL.
12. Enter your SMTP Username (example@centuryLink.net ).
13. Enter your account password for SMTP password.
14. Click the Blue Sign in button.
