With the "Change category" feature, you can easily modify the categories assigned to your emails based on their content or purpose. Follow these simple steps to change the category of an email:
- Log in to your email account and navigate to one of the categories - Updates, Social, Forums, or Promotions.
- Locate the email from which you want to remove the category.
- Select the email.
- Look for the Change category option in the message action bar and click on it.
- From the drop-down menu, choose the new category that best matches the content or purpose of the email.
- The email will now be assigned to the new category, making it easier to find and manage.
Note: The ‘Change Category’ option is accessible exclusively within the four predefined categories: Updates, Social, Forums, and Promotions.
